Other AMS nuclides

We offer AMS analyses of several long-lived radionuclides for a wide range of applications (e.g. geology, oceanography, biomedicine, environmental monitoring, nuclear safeguards).

AMS nuclides:  ¹⁰Be, ²⁶Al, ³⁶Cl, ⁴¹Ca, ¹²⁹I, actinides including ²³⁶U

• We are also developing new AMS setups for non-standard nuclides such as ³²Si or the higher actinides (e.g. Am, Cm). Please contact us in case you are interested.

Performance and Instrumentation::

• Except for ³⁶Cl, which is still measured at the 6 MV Tandem accelerator, all routine AMS analyses are carried out on our compact low energy systems Micadas, Tandy, and newly also Milea. Turnaround :

• typically 1 month depending on nuclide, required sample preparation and number of samples
